Overview

The first lifeguard tower to desalinate drinking water

The Vepodial is an environmentally conscious beacon for Cyprus, participating as an active producer of water, awareness, and culture!

The Vepodial’s simple and timeless form is designed as a kit of parts. With cost and modularity in mind, Vepodial also considers Cyprus’ increased risk of inundation due to coastal storms -components can quickly disassemble, and move to safety!

The Vepodial considers Cyprus’ increased dealings with drought
an integrated Solar Still passively desalinates, purifies, and produces 2 gallons of drinking water per day!

The Vepodial: a lifeguard station, a watchtower, and a sundial too
its shadow aligns with “Troodos Stones” on the beach...marking gathering points for people, conversation, and fun!
